Times Square Toys R Us!

Nay Nay, my mom, flew home with me and the kids from TN. It's always nice to have my mom visiting up here. My mom has been up here several times, but every time is more consumed with grand kids than sight seeing. This trip Jack wanted to take her to Toys R Us in Times Square. He thinks that is where everyone wants to go when they come to visit! And as usual when we take someone new we pile in and ride the Ferris wheel. We were all excited to land in the Toy Story seat. Of course nothing is ever totally smooth. That pretty blue hair bow in Lillie's was thrown overboard when we were at the highest point. I didn't even have time to react, she pulled it out and threw it over in the matter of seconds. It landed on the electrical box below and we were able to retrieve it once the ride was over.

I am so glad Nay Nay got to spend a few days with you. I know Jack was thrilled to ride the ferris wheel with her and show her around Toys R. Us. It is quite a store. Miss all of you so much. Love to all, Great Gran

Cute story and a very cute picture. I'm sure Jack was very excited for Nay Nay to see Toys R Us. A very special place for a very special little boy.
Love you all,

It was fun venturing out into the city a bit this trip! But just being with the kids is what I enjoy most. Sure miss all of you. The house is quiet again -miss the sound of running feet on the floors, banging doors and kitchen chairs being scooted over to the cabinet to sneak snacks!
Enjoyed the last three weeks so much! Love, Mom
