We had a great family vacation. I didn't have my camera out much. It was just too much to keep up with 3 little ones and have my eyes behind the lenses too! I have a few more pictures to share but I'll post them later. We went out 2 different nights to get "real" pictures. The first night of pictures we had the little kids(our kids and my brothers girls) in matching outfits and the second night we tried to get our family shot. The whole trip I think I took about 300 pictures. I think 250 of them were just in these two evenings, trying to get "the" picture! So here is the best one of the 5 of us.

I think the summer heat has slightly zapped my blogging motivation. That and my camera lenses was in the shop for a week ago after it took a small dive into the hardwood floor from my dresser. Anyway, I got my camera back up and working. These pictures are nothing great, but I had to show you Lillie's new trick. She can climb up into our dining table chairs. You can tell from the pictures that they are high off the ground.
The other night we discovered this when my phone was not working and Freddy T. and Jack were in the courtyard grilling, communicating with me up in the apartment about the timing of everything over Skype. My kids are all very familiar with Skype so when they hear the call ringing in they know exactly what it is and what to do. While Freddy T. was still pulled up on the computer and I was in the kitchen I came back to the table to find Lillie in the chair looking straight into the computer.
This morning we were chasing each other and once we were in the kids room I noticed Lillie had not followed. I came back around the corner and she was up in the chair finishing Jack's breakfast. Elliott is a good climber, really better than Lillie, but he hasn't venture up to the top of the chair yet. Lillie was feeding him every few bites.
I love this picture with Elliott's head popping over the edge of the table and Lillie getting ticked about it.
We are headed to vacation on Saturday and will be in and out of NYC for a few weeks. We are really looking forward to time with family and a little vacation. I don't think we'll have easily accessible Internet in the place we are staying, so I probably won't post anything, but get ready for a big update when we get back!

Our past week or so has been busy! Here are a few pictures of the kids.
Elliott has learned a trick from his Big Brother. Elliott is a climber and hard to keep an eye on.
This is in the window in our living room. There is a chair right beside it that the kids use as a ladder.
All 3 of them.
I gave Lillie and Elliott an Oreo cookie for a snack one day. Lillie was so mad when she could not have another one.
We spent a few hours out on the Courtyard one morning. Our courtyard is mostly shaded so it makes it a nice place to play. The kids all had new bubbles and our neighbors grandson was visiting, so there were extra toys out to play with.
I picked up some preschool workbooks for Jack. He more than likely won't go to preschool here, it's just way too expensive, so I'm working with him at home. We are using books Kumon workbooks. They lay out an easy to follow guide for teaching little ones. We are starting with Numbers 1-30, Upper Case Letters, and Using Scissors. Jack can identify most letters and his numbers already, but these workbooks are helping him learn to write the letters and numbers. And the cutting workbook helps him with his fine motor skills. He LOVES the cutting one.
I bought Lillie some headband with bows on them. I should have known she would not wear them, but they were buy one get one 1/2 off at Clarie's. Elliott on the other hand loved playing with them.
