The Terrace at The American Museum of Natural History

We went to the American Museum of Natural History today and went up on The Terrace where there are water fountains for the kids to play in. We went there one day last week and Jack LOVED it, so we had play group there today. It's a great place. It's on the roof of part of the museum, so you're above the noise on the streets. It has great green grass and so far there are very few people up there. It's a great "private" place to play and its free! Some pictures are a little blurry because I took them with the zoom as far out as I could get it on my camera. I was at one end with Lillie and Elliott and Jack was all over the place.

Carey kissing on Elliott, he just laughed. She is a week younger than the twins.
Jack loves kicking around on his belly.
Lunch time. Jack dumped all his chips in Ezra's bucket... gross! This is a shot of the Planetarium on the other side of the glass wall.
The crew playing together.

"This is AWESOME!"
Lillie played with her friends, but she fell asleep before I got the camera out.
Elliott and his buddy Jonah.
There are several boys and girls around Jacks age that he really enjoys playing with. There is a little boy a month younger than Elliott and a little girl a week younger than Lillie. I'm so thankful they have friends their age to grow up with.

I love seeing Jack have a good time with the other children. I am so thankful that places like this are available for him to enjoy, and next year Lillie and Elliott will be enjoying it, too. I am also glad that it give you an opportunity to be out and enjoy the company of other Mothers. Hugs and Kisses, Great Gran

Wow, this looks like a very neat place! I would have never guessed that it was on top of a building. Jack looks like he had a blast.

Drew is very excited about coming to NYC on Friday.

Wow we didn't know that was even up there. However it was so cold in March I don't think we would have ventured up there. I love seeing Jack enjoy friends. I remember how important Wyatt's play group was then. Looks fun!!! Aunt Di

You're saying that grass is on top of a building...

Where do y'all live?! Everytime I think I get a handle on your new life in NYC you bring me something like grass on top of a building!

But seriously, I'm glad for the community the Lord is building through you guys there. I hope He continues to bless you guys with the big things and the small things!! :)

We love you!
