Another Snow Day!

We woke up this morning to lots of snow! Jack wanted to go outside, but I wasn't so sure I wanted to go through the "trouble" of getting EVERYONE ready to go outside and play for what would probably be 10 minutes. So I decided to get Jack bundled up and let him go out on the balcony and play while the rest of us watched from the other side of the door. Turns out that was probably the best decision I'll make all day!

Jack throwing snow balls at Lillie and Elliott. Everyone was happy!
About to throw a snowball at Mommy!
I put my jacket on and went out with him long enough for us to build a little snowman. Jack was in charge of adding the eyes and mouth

Once I went back inside Jack wanted to take a picture of the snowman. I could hear him saying "Say cheese Mr. Snowman!"
And before he handed me my camera back he took a few more shots.
Jack's side walk chalk still on the concrete wall from last fall.
Three warm, happy watchers on the other side of the door.
Our lovely view.
Another lovely view. We sure miss our old view looking west toward NJ and the Hudson River. We saw amazing sunsets every evening. Here we don't see the sun directly, just its bright reflections from our neighbors windows.

That was a great idea. I am sure Jack had just as much fun on the balcony as he would have in the Court Yard, and Lillie and Elliott were not miserable. The snow looks so pretty. I heard on the news there had been quite a bit in NY. Stay warm and hugs to all. Great Gran

How are the girls settling in? How are Jack and the twins doing with them? Can't wait to hear how it's going so far!
