Joseph, A Shepherd, and An Angel

This past Sunday the kids at Gallery Church sang a few songs and dressed up like people in the Nativity.  Jack was Joseph, Elliott was a shepherd, and Lillie an angel.

They sang Silent Night, Away In A Manger, and Jesus Loves Me.
They also memorized and recited  Luke 2:11, "For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."
  This was before the program.

Practicing their singing.
Elliott desperately wanted to be a horsey.  The only way I could convince him to be the shepherd he was assigned was if he got to carry the "little lamb."

 Lillie singing.
Jack found a big stick in our neighborhood and we brought it with us to use as a staff.  He had it up like a gun and over his head most of the program, he didn't use it as a staff.
 Joseph

The whole crew.

I have a video I'll add once I get it downloaded.

I love the pictures! They will have so many good memories of this. Reminds me of our childhood at Olivet. Looking forward to seeing Joseph, a shepherd and an angel!

Hey Susan! I was just looking back through past posts, have you done anything else with the kids rooms?

Nope, still looks the same. I'd really love to do something but I'm just waiting till I find the right stuff (and money :)) It's kind of hard in a small room to make it work for girls and boys, unless you do blue and pink and I'm not really up for that!
