Jack's first time in the snow.

He had so many layers on he had trouble sitting up.

Catching Up

Now that I'm not doing monthly pictures I've lost my accountability to keep up with the blog. Thanks for reminding me that it's been so long.

Here are snapshots of January and February this far.

Jack loves riding facing forward in his carseat.

Bath time is becoming entertaining.

We've caught him several times sleeping in this new position.

He enjoys his drinks from sippy cups.

Throwing blocks, for some reason, is satisfying.

And last but not least, Jack cannot figure out why the cart won't go from this direction!

Our Monkey

I bought a set of clear storage bins the other day. I've used 2 of them, but the rest are still in front of the stairs because Jack has so much fun playing on them. He takes his time to put a few toys on the top, carefully climbs up, throws them back on the ground, carefully climbs down and starts the cycle all over again.

Also, the child has radar when he hears the refrigerator door open, the pantry door, and the dishwasher. He stops what he is doing and darts straight toward them. With the dishwasher there is no longer any thought as to whether climbing up is a good idea or not, he just does it.

Jack's Birthday Party

Last night we celebrated Jack's birthday with all of our families. He had fun with everyone over at our house and liked his first taste of cake!

I went to take our 12 month pictures yesterday and my camera was dead... would not work at all. So I borrowed a camera, but could not get them on the computer, so a day late

Since it was Christmas Eve Daddy was off work and got to participate in our photo shoot.

11 Months

It's hard to believe this is the next to last "monthly photo shoot." We are having so much fun with Jack. He is full of life and into everything. He's even started trying to stand alone! Everyday brings a new adventure and we are enjoying every second.
